Music from Sanctuary (ING1004) featured on BBC Radio 4's "Something Understood".
A new (as yet untitled) CD has now been written, and the next couple of months will see the finalisation of the scores. The CD is entirely made up of original compositions by Christian Forshaw, some of which have been previewed on the tour dates during 2011. The material and text for the disc has been inspired by and based on Julie Nicholson's book mentioned above, including settings of text by Tennyson, Shakespeare, Ella Wheeler Wilcox and from the book of Ecclesiasties, as well as instrumental pieces. The CD will be released in July 2012 and is the Sanctuary Ensemble's most ambitious project yet.
Recording sessions for new CD will take place during January and February
